3.7.5 Poses and Gait

Default Pose: a sentence that others will see when they LOOK in your location. Use ^ to indicate your name. For example:

   CUSTOMIZE SET DEFAULTPOSE ^ leans against a nearby wall

To remove your default pose use the command:

   CUSTOMIZE SET DEFAULTPOSE CLEAR

Pose: same as default pose, but it is temporary and will be cleared when you move. For example:

   CUSTOMIZE SET POSE ^ is here, pacing back and forth


Gait: a verb that indicates how you enter and exit a location. It can be any one word you choose and must end in "s". For example:

   CUSTOMIZE SET GAIT saunters

Your pose will also change depending on whether you are flying, taking cover, sitting or lying down.

In the case of the SIT and LIE commands, you can add up to two descriptors to your seated or lying pose using:
[SIT/LIE] [ON/IN/AT] [item/ground] [verb] [adjective]

E.g. If I wanted to lie in 'a bubbling jacuzzi' I could do: 
LIE IN JACUZZI FLOATING SERENELY 
This would display to the room as 
"Damiel is here, floating serenely in a bubbling jacuzzi"

If you use these descriptors, you will get a line telling you how it will look.

You can check how you're currently appearing in the room at any time by using LOOK ME.
