13.1.1 Government

The three factions in Starmourn have very different governments, not only in name but in functionality.

The Celestine Ascendancy is led by a council of three elected members, the head of which is chosen by the councillors from among their ranks and is known as the Ascendant.

The Song Dominion is governed by military rule, with a single leader: the Lord Commander. This position can be contested with a formal leadership challenge.

Scatterhome has no formal government. Instead, major actions (promotions, demotions, ousting, etc.) are made with the input of the entire population via calls to action. In lieu of leadership positions, Scatterhome does have some set administrative positions, which can be filled by multiple members. Members may also hold multiple positions at the same time.
