12.5.2 The Iota System

The Iota system is located in neutral space, somewhat in the middle of the Scatterhome, Celestine Ascendancy, and Song Dominion territories.

Usum Usutti

Marketed to the wealthiest hunters in the sector, the planet Usum Usutti is owned and operated by the Shen. The reserve touts the most ferocious beasts from throughout the sector, coupled with the most luxurious accommodations. The animals are, for the most part, unadulterated from whatever planets they originate, but geneticists are working very hard to create enhanced versions as well as entirely new species that will satisfy hunters, whether they are there for the thrill of the chase or an impressive trophy.

New Dikamazi

Named after the lost Bushraki homeworld, this asteroid colony is home to a species of poppy which is both the last surviving plant species of Old Dikamazi and a powerful and highly addictive hallucinogen. The colony's founder, Tsake Shayato, has used genetic engineering and nanotechnolgy in an attempt to recreate the lush biosphere of her people's former home, resulting in mutant plant-machine hybrid leeches which roam the colony's vast gardens. Although her loyal Chrome Skull gang members control the asteroid, numerous other Bushraki have flocked to the settlement in hopes that it will grow into a place for their species to call their own.
