5.10 Ignore

If you just can't get someone to stop talking to you, maybe it's time to press the mute button!

   IGNORE LIST                            List players you are ignoring.
   IGNORE <person> <reason>               Ignore a player.
   UNIGNORE <person>                      Stop ignoring a player.
   IGNORE CLEAR                           Clear any ignores.

Should you ignore a person, they will not immediately see that they have been ignored by you. Their says and emotes will not show to you, and they will be unable to send you tells.

You will not be completely shielded from those you have ignored. For example, you will still see anything they say in newbie, their actions in-room, in channel history and any news posts they make that you have access to.

Q: What should I do if I have been ignored?
A: If you have been ignored, you do not need to do anything! But you should certainly NOT try to contact the person who has ignored you, in game or out of game. You are not to speak to them OOC. You are not to roleplay with them. This is strictly against our policies. (See: HELP HARASSMENT)

Q: What should I do if I put someone on ignore?
A: Nothing! But ignore is not a shield you can hide behind to safely poke a person you dislike. If you have ignored someone, you should consider them as uncontactable to you as you are to them. (See: HELP HARASSMENT)
