Esteemed Spacers! Bands! ... Folks!
Can you believe that last Winterfest was 15 years ago? How time flies when you're having fun, huh? Seems like a lot longer for some of us too, I'm sure. So in celebration and all that, myself and the awesome crew of Tosmar hearthmeisters over at the Winterflame Festivities area are excited to announce that WINTERFEST 2 IS AFOOT (yeah yeah, not an arm, or a leg, and clearly not a Krona.. har har very funny.)
This is the usual call-out by Omnifarious Productions, to find performers and sponsors for the event. The date will be confirmed as soon as I can get it sorted with those involved.

Anyone registered as a band can apply, whether well-established or just starting out, starcore, comedy, trishow, you name it.
We'd love to showcase some new talent, as well as welcoming some more well known acts from across the sector.
Don't you just hate it when you're asked to work for 'popularity', or 'exposure'? Spacers' gotta eat, right?! Well, NOT ONLY will it genuinely be good for your popularity, but all bands who perform will get also get PAID. Exact payment terms will depend on sponsorship, but will be clarified before the show. Not only that, you'll also get your usual cut of the takings.
"HOW DO I GET ME A PIECE OF THIS FESTIVE AWESOMENESS?" I hear you all cry!
Well, you just need to send me a pitch or a proposal for your performance. The theme is: 'Different planets, same family.' or Winterflame in general. If you don't know what that is yet then have a look at NEWS READ ANNOUNCEMENTS 93 or, even better, hop on over to the Winterflame Festivities Area and have a talk to some of the folks there. They've even set up a transport from the Omni transport station.
Some ideas are:
- Winterflame traditions.
- Snow and ice, especially the melting kind.
- Flames and fire.
- Found family.
- People from different cultures and races gathering together.
But don't be afraid to send me a message to ask!

Who?
If you own a business and would like to sponsor the event just send me a message letting me know how much you want to donate and what name/logo you'd like putting on promotional materials. Anonymous donations are accepted if you want, but it's a great opportunity to get your business or org some visibility.
What can I donate?
We're looking for money, primarily. These things ain't free to set up, and we believe in paying artists for their work. We also need sponsored prizes to be given out to attendees who stay for the whole performance. Promo items and credits, that kinda thing.

WHEN IS IT?
The date of the event is to be confirmed, but we're looking at holding it between Moonday in the 2nd week of Starmourn, and Moonday in the 3rd week of Kith, 961 A.E. (//between 18th-26th Dec some time, probably not the 24th/25th for obvious reasons, but the 26th might be nice? Depends very much on what works for the performers). The date will be mutually agreed between the acts and organisers once the acts are confirmed - I'll let you know as soon as it's set!
The festival will be safe and protected by the latest in JoyTech security systems.
