A Summary of the Time Crisis.

It has been nearly a year since the time crisis (though with how the timestream has been affected, I could be off by a bit). We have had a number of newer spacers join the sector since the showdown against Ishvana at Gnomon, and many may have heard of the events, but not understand exactly what occurred.
The Voidseeker Tribe, formed after said event, have been working to research the aftermath of the crisis, study the temporal energies, and learn about the Empyreals. Seeing as how much has changed since that event, we thought it best to give a summary of what has happened, and update the public on a few things they may not have known.
First, the time crisis began with prisms appearing in our universe. Soon after they appeared, temporal anomalies also began to show up, attacking anyone who provoked the strange objects as well as sending them back in time temporarily. We believe that the prisms are broken bits of the time stream, due to Ishvana attempting to get the Isochronon's corpse, and that the anomalies were the Empyreal's way of protecting its corpse.
Eventually the decision was made to use the prisms, attached to a skipdrive, to see if we could learn more about what was going on. The Event Horizon was set up in this manner, and quite a few people, including myself, boarded. As we started what would be the ship's last voyage, quite a few things happened, which we are still trying to fully understand.
While details on everything are still complicated, and a lot of people experienced different things, everyone aboard at the time, as well as a few people who hadn't intended to go along, ended up being thrown outside the time stream. The ship was all but obliterated by the temporal energies, and practically everyone aboard had to clone once we had accidentally left our timeline. We explored the ship, finding that we were stuck out in the middle of nowhere with no connection to the commsphere.
We began to gather whatever supplies we could, attempting to create a way to return back to our timestream. However, as we worked to return, a temporal abomination (and several anomalies) appeared, attacking the crew. They were luckily fought off by the crew, and, using the remains of the skip drive, Flipilaria created a way back.
However, on activation, as the rest of the crew returned, Flipilaria wasn't able to follow. Instead, she was lost outside of the time stream for a couple of months. As time labs around the sector worked to get her back, Gnomon Institute stepped forward. They brought her back into our timestream and explained what was going on.
Sync, the galaxy-wide method for correcting temporal errors, was their doing, and using the corpse of an Empyreal known as the Isochronon, they managed to continually fix time. However, Ishvana, having found the institute, assaulted it with its forces, attempting to get the corpse. Eventually they breached the inner part of the facility, where the Isochronon was kept. The facility called on anyone who could help, and many rushed to aid them.
This has lead to them receiving help from those who were there at that time, as well as people from the future, past, and other realities. The details are kind of confusing, of course, but from what we've gathered, there is still are ways to assist in the battle.
Now, at the end of that battle, the Isochronon's corpse awoke, and the Empyreal came back. From what we've seen, it reset the year 960 back to the start, and has actually slowed down time. What would happen in a month now takes simply a week, and things seem to exist for longer in our universe without breaking down or decaying. The prisms that were also around during the crisis are actually now breaking down as well, meaning that the Empyreal seems to be repairing our time stream. Sync also still occurs, but Gnomon does not appear to be in charge of it anymore. While temporal anomalies still show up at Gnomon, that place does seem to be partially disconnected from our reality, meaning that the Isochronon probably still views the Ishvana forces there as a threat.
Finally, the Event Horizon wreckage is still out where we left it. From what has been observed, it seems to have enough temporal energy charged into it that the Empyreal views it as dangerous, which means that temporal abominations have been seen on board since the ship returned to our timeline.
What does this mean for our universe going forward? We aren't entirely sure. We know that the Isochronon is still out there, and may or may not require aid in the future. Temporal anomalies seem to have all but vanished, though care is still advised when handling the prisms. The Voidseeker Tribe will continue to research the Empyreals and the temporal energies that the universe has experienced.
