90.1 Support Tickets
If you are in need of administrative assistance in Starmourn, you can open a support ticket while logged in to the game. The syntax is: ISSUE <player> <reason> Submit an issue against another player. (Note: this notifies the other player) ISSUE <me> <reason> Submit an issue involving only yourself. ISSUE LIST View current (unresolved) issues. ISSUE LIST ALL View all issues submitted by or against you. ISSUE <#> SHOW View details of an issue. ISSUE <#> REPLY <response> Respond to an issue filed against you. ISSUE <#> RESOLVE <comment> Close an issue that you opened. Please note that you can also send an email to support@starmourn.com from the account you registered with. When to open a ticket: ---------------------- There are two main reasons you might need to open a ticket: - You have a problem, probably with another adventurer or a group, that you cannot find a way to resolve in any other way, and usually related to theft, killing, or harassment. - You have a personal request for clarification or administrative assistance. When not to open a support ticket: ---------------------------------- There are several reasons you might think a support ticket is needed, but there is actually a better alternative. - You have a problem with how the game works. - You have a suggestion for a new way to do things. - You have spotted a typo somewhere in the game. In all three of these scenarios you should use the BUG command to make a report. See HELP BUGS for more info! Examples of support tickets: ---------------------------- Please be as detailed as possible in your ticket! Ask your question, explain your problem, etc. Do not simply say you have a problem, or ask if you can ask a question. A really bad example: ISSUE I need to talk to an admin! A poor example: ISSUE I'm stuck on my ship! A good example: ISSUE Last night I quit the game from the bridge of my ship while docked at Reshi Station. When I logged on today, I was unable to DISEMBARK. I received the message "You are not on a ship. You can use SHIP BOARD <ship> at a dock to board." But I am definitely on my ship!
