//VID MESSAGE TRANSMISSION://OMNIFARIOUS PRODUCTIONS//JOYCO//RAFFLE//MOVING ON FROM SCATTERFEST//

//Summary: New projects, raising money for security, community and Gravity, and a RAFFLE. Raffle runs for 7 months (//ONE RL week)//

[Orrin Moonchild, a Whoorn man with animated leaf tattoos all over his head, a tufty mane dotted with petals, warm amber eyes and large golden wings, sits on a couch in a quiet bar. He's wearing grey duracloth pants, a beat up duracloth jacket covered in patches and pins, a Beasts of Low Horizons t-shirt and bright yellow hi-top sneakers. He grins at the camera in greeting:]

Hey all! Orrin here, with newly appointed JoyCo Herald, Van Moonchild!

[Orrin gestures at Van, a slim human man with wavy platinum hair in a ponytail and a pencil-thin beard who is sitting next to Orrin, wearing grey duracloth pants and a Scatterfest 951 STAFF shirt.]

[Van waves at the camera, grinning. Orrin looks proud.]

[Orrin turns back, furrowing his brow and looking seriously into the camera]

So& I wanted to do something in the wake of Scatterfest. With the investigation still unresolved I think a lot of us are feeling frustrated and helpless in the wake of the tragic and traumatic events of Scatterfest.

As organizer I feel a sense of responsibility but also very helpless. I'm not a marshal or a detective, and it's been tough dealing with the fact that there's not a great deal I'm capable of doing to assist with that&

[Orrin smiles a little]

...but I do have useful skills in other ways.

So, Omnifarious Productions and JoyCo have spent the last few months putting a lot of thought and hard work into projects we can do to take some positive action. And how we can involve YOU and enable you all to feel like y'all are doing something too.

[Orrin nods. Van also nods.]

We split it into three areas:

[Orrin counts on his claws]

Security...
Future...
Community.

First up is security...

[A title comes up at the bottom of the image; bold, neon-looking text says: 1. Security.]

JoyTech and O.P. have been working together on a new concert security system, with Hope Moonchild leading the research and development:

[The vid cuts to edited footage of Hope, a nonbinary human with long hair, currently secured in a braid, who is wearing a lab coat, in a tidy workshop, holding a datapad and smiling to an unseen interviewer. A strip of text appears at the bottom of the vid that says Hope Moonchild, Lead Engineer for JoyTech. Hope speaks:]

"As a response to the Gravity murders, JoyTech will be developing non-invasive and ethical security measures to help tighten security for future events. The details and technical specifications are still under development and subject to change. The system will be implemented at all future Omnifarious Productions concerts and festivals on the scale of Scatterfest, and will hopefully be portable and affordable enough to use at smaller shows!"

[The cut scene finishes and the vid shows Orrin and Van once more. Orrin speaks:]

Thanks to Hope for all their hard work on that!

[Orrin takes a breath and smiles.]

Now, looking to the future...

[A title comes up at the bottom of the image; bold, neon-looking text says: 2. Future.]

Omnifarious productions has also joined forces with JoyCo to bring you JoyTunes: A brand new learning, mentoring and sponsorship program for new musicians, or any musicians looking to develop their craft and make it big! Teaching and development in a supportive environment led by leaders of the music industry.

[Orrin grins mischievously]

Thats me and Keiko, mainly&

We got more details coming on that soon in a separate post but I'm super excited about it! If youd like to register interest - please message me directly.

[A title comes up at the bottom of the image; bold, neon-looking text says: 3. Community.]

[Orrin furrows his brow, looking serious again and shuffling his feet a little.]

The incident at Scatterfest hit Gravity hard.

The venue was shut for ten months and, having spoken to Genny and the crew there they are in dire need of some refurbs, essential maintenance and, well... a flakkin' morale boost!

[Orrin claps his forepaws together.]

COMMUNITY - thats you - WE WANT YOU all to feel like theres something you can do to help!

SO&

[Orrin looks at Van and nods.]

[To Van] You wanna do this part?

[Van grins and nods. He turns to the camera and announces, hands spread wide:]

WE'RE RUNNING A HUGE SPECTACULAR RIDICULOUS RAFFLE FOR YOU ALL!

[Van consults a datapad, smiling and glancing at the camera. Orrin watches, smiling. Van speaks:]

We have some amazing prizes lined up already& wait for those at the end& first we got the ALL IMPORTANT DETAILS!

[A title comes up at the bottom of the image; bold, neon-looking text flashes dark blue and light blue alternately, it says: ALL IMPORTANT DETAILS.]

So& the proceeds:
All the money will be split equally three ways between Gravity, JoyTech Security Systems and the JoyTunes mentoring program.

[Van nods, looking wise. Orrin beams at Van.]
