Scatterhome Museum Gala!

Greetings and Salutations!

The Scatterhome Museum is expanding! Well. Not right away. We will be expanding, and so, we invite all of you to the first Scatterhome Gala to raise funds and awareness!

A sit down dinner is planned for inside the museum lobby, with gathering outside to show off outfits! Design your own or make an outfit from what you can find! The gentle theme is "Fossils" but anyone in any outfit is welcome!

We will start with commentary on costumes (either you can provide your own, or we will chatter about you) before moving into the lobby to enjoy dinner followed by dessert.

During the dinner there will be silent auctions for a variety of objects. Nothing firm at this point for the minor items, but the big prize is having a wing of the expanded museum named after you! Yes you! Or maybe another, more different, you.

After dinner, and after bidding (or earlier, if you must depart), gift bags! With things like snacks! And expedition gear for your next dig site!

Currently the event is planned for ((October 15th at 6pm Eastern USA times. This is a Sunday in that timezone)).

We hope to see you there, and ready to eat vaguely fossil related items! Maybe some just have bones inside them, like fish! And meat! And gelatin!
