Penalties.

Soza, Woodro,

First of all, let me make one thing clear: It's not a bounty, but a penalty. No one can claim it even if they defeat you. It's a price you have to pay if you wish to get unenemied from the Ascendancy - not an unjust act to limit your freedom, but a fair recompense for damage you've done to the faction and to other people whose freedom and well-being you've infringed upon. Nothing more than that.

The penalty currently stands at 250 thousand marks for both of you. Any further actions either of you take against the Celestine Ascendancy will be viewed with knowledge that they were likely done with your rivalry as the motivating factor. Don't expect to gain an upper hand against the other brother by doing that!

Being better or worse has nothing to do with it. The potential for good and bad exists in all of us in equal measure.

Thank you for your time,
Ren
