The Conflict in Oldtown.

Oldtown. Waterlogged tunnels. Dripping slums. And home, it is rumored, to a possession of great value to the Bushraki.

Hostilities between Recoil Akura and Kuda Shayato had been escalating for some time, and recently, they came to a violent head. Unable to bear Recoil's taunting any further, Kuda unleashed the full force of his Chrome Skulls on the tunnels of Oldtown, flooding them with more than just water.

The fighting raged through the streets for what seemed like days. Residents from Haven City, made aware of the brewing conflict thanks to the work of Slander Erebus, descended to the tunnels to aid the Dikamazi Ventrats in their struggle against the interloping Chrome Skulls.

Kuda grew more and more unhinged at the losses he suffered, demanding access to the flower he coveted so much. The Chrome Skulls fought like cornered rats, but steadily lost ground thanks to the vigorous efforts of the combatants.

Eventually, as the fighting reached its peak, Recoil Akura was approached in the Crater Casino by Keinna and a few others, who proposed luring Kuda out of hiding by offering him the coveted poppy under false pretenses. Recoil agreed to the plan.

At the drop site, Keinna, Naldan, Juno, and Marcus, and others waited for Kuda, only to meet his daughter, Tsake Shayato, who arrived first. Nearly in tears, she begged them not to antagonize her abusive father. Kuda arrived moments later, and tensions escalated swiftly, with Tsake growing more and more agitated and alarmed by the proceedings. At Naldan and Ilyahven's urging, the girl followed Ilyahven out of Oldtown, where she was taken to Gravity to calm down.

Meanwhile, back in the tunnels, Kuda's rage knew no limits as he discovered the treachery he'd fallen for, and he mercilessly cut down his opponents before Recoil herself showed up to finish the job, furious at the damage done to her territory.

After the battle, Recoil Akura could be found in Gravity. Some citizens expressed curiosity about the fabled flower, and the leader of the Ventrats obliged, displaying the poppy to those assembled, explaining that it was one of the last, semi-organic remnants of Dikamazi, the Bushraki homeworld. Recoil was flush with triumph, savage in her disdain for Kuda and anyone associated with him.

Suddenly, the gang leader was attacked from behind, by none other than Kuda Shayato's traumatized daughter. The unexpected attack was non-fatal, but Tsake Shayato fled Haven City in the confusion...and she took the flower with her. She left Oldtown in even more shambles than usual, heading from Reynolds Spaceport to Omni Station, and from there, her whereabouts are unknown. Though with a fresh bounty on her head...it's unlikely she'll be able to hide long.
