Greetings Starmourners!

First up, I'd like to thank you all for the warm welcome, it really means a lot to me!
I am thoroughly excited to be here and, let's face it, a bit anxious, as I'll be trying to fill in the titanic shoes left behind by Tecton! Thank the Void though, I am not alone in this endeavor, as I have the brilliant Eukelade, the mighty Garryn and the wonderful Storytellers at my side as we will be propelling Starmourn even further into greatness and awesomeness!

They have all built a wonderful and immersing game and we will continue to make this game shine in the months and years to come.I've been around IRE games for over a decade, have undergone my staff apprenticeship as a volunteer in the past, and have lurked in the background and foreground of Starmourn since it opened its gates to the public. In real-life, I've worked as a business analyst, game programmer and designer prior to being part of the Iron Realms team. I'm still transitioning out of my previous job and into this one and I kindly ask of you to have patience with me as I wrap my head around everything that is to learn about this new role!

I want to keep maintaining a high level of transparency about what we do, why we do something and why we don't do other things, so I will be continuing the trend of having Q&As and keeping you all informed with what we're working on.

And while we're on this topic, we have heard your feedback regarding the state of gathering and refining and are working hard on tweaking the experience to make sure you enjoy your time here! A slew of other economy-related changes are in works, both for for space-related affairs as well as for your crafters and tradeskill users. Everything is getting some love and these are happening sooner rather than later!

We're also working on something very special that we are hoping to announce when next month will roll in. And we haven't forgotten about the Roadmap we promised a while ago! This is the week when we'll be posting that and then we can have a Q&A where you can share your thoughts and generally just asks us about things.

Until then and always reach out to me either via e-mail at ioan@starmourn.com or in-game via the usual channels (messages, tells, uploading your consciousness to the Ishvana, etc.) and I will be following the forums and the unofficial discord server as well (I have done so anyway), so you will probably also find me there as well.

Thank you and may you all have an awesome day!
Ilyos/Ioan

Wonders abound in April, as do pranks and glee!

(This joke did wonders on the Discord) We Admin folk considered a bunch…
